Educating people about farm life is one of the main goals of this local fest. New technology and innovative technique which are used in farming are shown to young people from Edmonton and Southern Alberta. These workshops and hands-on learning activities connect young Albertans to their rural roots. Recent survey says Canadian farmers are welcoming more digitalization in agriculture

Digitalization in farming means enhancing agricultural productivity by using technologies like sensors, drones, and different software to manage agriculture production. In addition, the automation of various farming processes of growing and harvesting various crops is made possible through technological advances. This aids farmers in better resource management, product tracking, and transparency across the supply chain. Farmers also use precision agriculture, where farmers can use current data to maximize agriculture production, lessen waste and reduce the impact on the environment. According to a recent survey by RealAgristudies, Canadian farmers are becoming more comfortable with the digitalization happening in farming techniques and methods. The majority of farmers in Canada are using some form of data to manage and operate their crop production. Farmers who took the survey say they are more confident in managing the cost by using digital data. According to Funk, Ag Data Transparent certification is given to companies that customers regard as the most reliable. The organization agrees to a set of rules regarding the storage, and sharing of farm data It illustrates how the use of transparency and collaboration with clients to assist them in understanding how their information is utilized can help the digital data sector win the trust of farmers. This survey suggests that those using more digital farming tools are more comfortable with their safety. Krista Kilback (Manager of FCC AgExpert) said the farming community could become more efficient in terms of cost, labor, and time by using digital data tools. The survey was conducted in November 2022 and suggested utilization of digital tools and modern farming techniques has increased by Canadian producers leading the industry for continued growth and stability in the future.
